About the Role

ERM is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the position of Social Impact and Human-Labor Rights Managing Consultant. This role will be based in Mexico City and will play a critical part in supporting our clients in the region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement social impact assessments and social management plans for clients in the oil and gas, power, and infrastructure sectors.
  • Provide guidance and support to project teams on social performance and labor rights issues.
  • Collaborate with ERM's business development teams to identify new business opportunities and grow existing client relationships.
  • Mentor and develop the skills of junior team members.
Requirements
  • Undergraduate degree in Social Sciences, Communications, Anthropology, or a related field.
  • At least 8 years of experience in social performance and labor rights, with a strong understanding of national regulations and laws related to stakeholder consultation, land acquisition, and Corporate Social Responsibility.
  • Excellent project management and communication skills, with the ability to work in both English and Spanish.
  • Flexibility to handle multiple assignments and meet strict deadlines.
  • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time.
