As an Onstar Sales Business Manager at General Motors, you will be responsible for:

  • Establishing and maintaining strong relationships with dealership management to ensure effective communication and execution of Onstar objectives, plans, and service improvements.
  • Coordinating meetings between Onstar team and dealerships to improve performance and drive business growth.
  • Developing and implementing action plans to improve Onstar KPIs and ensure compliance with goals set for dealerships.
  • Providing regular reports to Onstar management on dealership performance and identifying opportunities for improvement.
  • Defining monthly plans and agendas to visit dealerships and drive business growth.
  • Reducing cancellation rates of Onstar packages and generating incentive programs to increase Onstar sales.
  • Developing Onstar sales programs for all dealer segments, including new, pre-owned, and service lane.

**Operational Support**

You will also be responsible for:

  • Identifying dealership training needs and working with dealership management to improve their skills and knowledge.
  • Providing support to dealerships to solve issues related to daily operations.
  • Supervising the use of promotional materials and training resources at the dealership sales floor.
  • Communicating with Onstar Marketing and Sales management to provide feedback on opportunities identified in the field.
  • Generating reporting dashboards to track dealer performance and operating dealer incentive programs.

**Requirements**

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Experience in sales and operations management.
  • Knowledge of the automotive industry and Onstar products.
