Job Summary

You will be working on the TriPeaks Tech Team, reporting directly to the engineering director. As a Senior Game Tech Engineer, you will be responsible for leading by example with technical excellence, balancing pragmatic and ideal engineering practices. You will also be responsible for keeping the app up to date with important SDK upgrades and external platform requirements, planning and implementing strategic improvements to core game systems, and working closely with other engineers to investigate and fix critical production issues.

Responsibilities

  • Perform in-depth investigations on app performance and stability and identify actions for improvement
Requirements
  • 5+ years professional experience as a developer on mobile games or applications
  • Strong, proven skills with Unity and C#
  • Experience integrating, upgrading, and troubleshooting 3rd party SDKs, packages, and plugins in Unity (including dependency management and build issue resolution)
  • Proactive, service-oriented mindset toward teammates and users
  • High comfort level extending a complex code base with appropriate risk mitigation
  • Strong English language skills with excellent ability to clearly articulate and communicate technical issues both verbally and in writing
  • Gumption to work on the most challenging technical issues that face a live production game
