Job Description

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled Pre-Si Verification Engineer to join our team at Intel. As a key member of our verification team, you will be responsible for ensuring the design meets specification requirements through functional verification of IP logic.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute verification plans, test benches, and verification environments to ensure coverage and confirm to microarchitecture specifications.
  • Execute verification plans and define and run system simulation models to verify the design, analyze power and timing, and uncover bugs.
  • Replicate, root cause, and debug issues in the pre-silicon environment.
  • Finds and implements corrective measures to resolve failing tests.
  • Collaborate with architects, RTL developers, and physical design teams to improve verification of complex architectural and microarchitectural features.
  • Document test plans and drive technical reviews of plans and proofs with design and architecture teams.
  • Maintain and improve existing functional verification infrastructure and methodology.
  • Participate in the definition of verification infrastructure and related TFMs needed for functional design verification.

Requirements

  • Minimum 3+ years of industry experience.
  • 3+ years of experience in architecting and coding System Verilog/UVM test benches at the cluster (IP) level, block and/or full-chip level.
  • 3+ years of experience working in principles of software engineering, object-oriented programming, and in test bench design for re-use and integration into complex SoCs.
  • Advanced English level.
  • Must have unrestricted - permanent right to work in Mexico.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Prior experience in pre-silicon validation domain.
  • Experience working with multiple teams across a wide range of disciplines.
  • Previous experience in test planning.

Working Model

This role will be eligible for our hybrid work model which allows employees to split their time between working on-site at their assigned Intel site and off-site. In certain circumstances the work model may change to accommodate business needs.
