Job Summary

As a Regional Sales Manager at Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence, you will be responsible for promoting and marketing our products in the corresponding region, increasing our market share to be the number one or two in each product line offered, and generating profit for the company through sales generated.

Key Responsibilities

  • Search, find, develop, and maintain business opportunities in the assigned territory, in both existing and new accounts, to place Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence products, including:
    • New and used Coordinate Measuring Machines
    • Upgrades and Software
    • Articulated measuring arms
    • Laser Trackers
    • White Light Systems
    • Vision Systems
    • Training, consulting, measurement/programming services
    • Miscellaneous
  • Create, develop, maintain, and improve business relationships with key and strategic customers located in the assigned region.
  • Support and supervise Portable Specialists assigned to the region concerning commercial activities that are part of the sales process.
  • Identify, contact, and follow up on negotiations with key people within the client's organization.
  • Prepare and deliver professional quotes that fully meet the client's needs and expectations.
  • Perform professional demonstrations and presentations of Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence products to clients and prospects.
  • Support the factory and the client with all the required information at each stage of the sales process.
  • Support the client with all necessary information to achieve a successful installation on time and in form.
  • Generate and deliver:
    • Weekly Sales Plan
    • Weekly and monthly status report of negotiations
    • Weekly expense report
    • Other reports and plans as requested

Qualifications

  • Education: Higher Level: Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Industrial Engineering, Industrial and Systems Engineering, or Administrative Mechanical Engineering.
  • Experience: 3-5 years in a similar position or in technical sales of industrial equipment.
  • Knowledge – Special Skills Necessary:
    • Technical Sales
    • Experience working with multinational companies
    • Knowledge of the manufacturing industry established in the designated region
    • Great negotiation skills
    • Excellent computer skills for office tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
    • Excellent written and spoken communication
  • Desirable:
    • Knowledge of our brand's dimensional metrology equipment or others
    • Knowledge of dimensional metrology
    • Knowledge of manufacturing processes (casting, machining, plastic injection, molding, assembly, etc.)
