Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Public Area Attendant to join our team at Marriott International, Inc. As a Public Area Attendant, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of public areas, including restrooms, showers, and common spaces.

Key Responsibilities
  • Clean and sanitize public restrooms and showers, including sinks, toilets, and showers
  • Dust and polish surfaces, including furniture and fixtures
  • Empty trash and recyclables, and replace liners in receptacles
  • Restock supplies, including toilet paper, soap, and paper towels
  • Report any maintenance issues or concerns to the facilities team
  • Assist with special events and projects as needed
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • 1-2 years of experience in housekeeping or facilities maintenance preferred
  • Ability to lift up to 55 pounds and push/pull carts and equipment
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
