We are seeking a highly skilled Strategic Financial Solutions Leader to join our Finance & Strategy team at Zendesk, a leading provider of customer experience software. This dynamic role will focus on critical cross-functional initiatives, requiring a talented individual with a strong background in financial analysis and business acumen.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with leaders across the organization to perform financial analysis of strategic initiatives, including acquisitions, partnerships, and new market entry.
- Develop and implement financial models to evaluate critical cross-functional initiatives.
- Conduct comprehensive due diligence, including market sizing and analysis, review of financials and contracts, and identification of risks.
- Provide data-driven insights and recommendations to support go/no-go evaluations and advise on transaction/partnership structure.
- Develop approach to measure execution against critical initiative business plans and build reporting cadence for performance reviews.
About You:
- Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or related field; MBA or CFA designation a plus.
- 5 years of relevant experience in investment banking or transaction-focused role, with 2+ years in financial modeling.
- Strong financial modeling skills, proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Google Sheets, and familiarity with SaaS/software financial reporting standards.
- Solid understanding of financial statements and ability to analyze/interpret financial data.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with keen attention to detail.
- Strong communication/presentation skills, with ability to convey complex financial concepts clearly.
- Ability to work independently/collaboratively in fast-paced environment, managing multiple projects/priorities.
