Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Supply Chain Planner/Buyer to join our team at Schneider Electric Norge AS. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for defining and updating supply and stock management parameters to ensure the timely delivery of products to our customers.

Key Responsibilities
  • Supply Chain Planning: Define and update supply and stock management parameters, including ramp-up and ramp-down strategies, to achieve target service levels while reducing unhealthy stock and costs.
  • Inventory Management: Ensure the quality and consistency of key data, including lead time, quantity, and stocking policy, to maintain accurate inventory levels.
  • Procurement: Manage the continuous needs/resources balance for raw materials, components, sub-assemblies, and finished products, ensuring timely delivery and minimizing backorders.
  • Customer Service: Manage customer needs coming from the Customer Claim Management Process, ensuring prompt resolution and maintaining high customer satisfaction levels.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Measure and analyze key performance indicators, such as ISSR and S-OTD, to drive action plans and improve supply chain efficiency.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or Operations Engineering.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to look at numbers, trends, and data to drive conclusions.
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with stakeholders.
  • Independence: Ability to work independently with minimal supervision, making independent decisions and solving problems.
  • Collaboration: Strong collaboration and influencing skills, with the ability to partner with cross-functional teams and external partners.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and SAP, with a strong understanding of supply chain management principles and practices.
