Role Overview: Manufacturing Process Engineer

As a Manufacturing Process Engineer, you will be pivotal in our production operations. Your expertise will be vital in crafting and executing effective manufacturing processes for both new and existing products. By ensuring optimal operation sequences and selecting appropriate machinery, tools, and equipment, you will play a key role in achieving our productivity and efficiency goals.

Key Responsibilities

In this position, your responsibilities will include:

  • Designing and implementing manufacturing processes for new and existing products, detailing operation sequences, machinery, tools, and equipment needs.
  • Performing cost assessments and return on investment evaluations to assess the viability of process enhancements.
  • Overseeing the execution of product design and process modifications through fabrication, procurement, and assembly.
  • Addressing quality issues using the CAPA methodology and ensuring comprehensive product quality.
  • Conducting process validation and qualification, while implementing process controls through statistical techniques.
  • Documenting and maintaining operational instructions, visual aids, and quality system procedures related to processes.
  • Ensuring manufacturing processes comply with FDA Quality System Regulations.
  • Promoting continuous improvement and lean manufacturing practices within the production environment.
  • Enhancing ergonomics at workstations to prevent injuries and ensure compliance with EHS standards.
  • Leading teams and guiding the technical efforts of colleagues.

Qualifications

To thrive in this role, you should possess:

  • 3-5 years of experience in a relevant field.
  • A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent experience in a related technical discipline.
  • Strong organizational and communication abilities.
  • Proven effectiveness in team collaboration and leadership roles.
  • Excellent analytical, decision-making, and problem-solving skills.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish.
