The Manufacturing Engineering Manager at Rockwell Automation is responsible for planning, directing, and coordinating the activities of process engineering, industrial engineering, and manufacturing services to facilitate efficient operations across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess the cost-effectiveness and feasibility of manufacturing processes, making recommendations to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
- Supervise process operations to ensure accurate and quality work, adhering to safety standards.
- Oversee manufacturing services, order processing, and coordinate order and engineering changes.
- Lead the evaluation and execution of capital plans, capacity expansions, new product introductions, and equipment renovations.
- Prepare and implement budgets for tooling, equipment, and services.
- Collaborate with local and remote teams, including planning, quality, design, and operational excellence.
Requirements:
- Understanding of Engineer-to-Order manufacturing processes.
- Thorough knowledge of plant engineering, industrial engineering, and tooling.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
- Effective communication, presentation, and conflict management skills.
- Ability to drive change in a positive manner despite challenges to timelines, deliverables, and resources.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience in manufacturing engineering.
- Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Manufacturing Engineering Manager or similar role.
