Global Education Ministries (GEM) is seeking a dedicated and passionate Missionary Middle School Science Teacher to join our team in Puerto Escondido, Mexico. As a missionary, you will have the opportunity to serve the Lord while pouring out your life for the purpose of planting seeds of the gospel in the hearts of your students and committing to excellence in the classroom.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a qualified Science Teacher who is passionate about sharing their faith and creating a positive learning environment for our students. As a Missionary Middle School Science Teacher, you will be responsible for planning, preparing, and teaching Science classes using best practices, while actively weaving the gospel into instruction and saturating all interactions with students and their families in the truth of the gospel.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan and teach Science classes using best practices
  • Actively weave the gospel into instruction
  • Saturate all interactions with students and their families in the truth of the gospel
  • Assist the school administration in accomplishing the academic and spiritual goals of the school
  • Foster positive relationships with students, parents, and the community
  • As a missionary, there will be expectations to assist in recruiting, fundraising, creating policy, and being an ambassador for GEM
Qualifications:
  • A true, genuine faith in Jesus Christ
  • Degree in Secondary Education and Science, or related degree
  • Eligibility to work in the US
  • An outgoing and adventurous personality, ready to pursue others for the sake of the gospel
  • Flexibility of schedule
  • Willingness to relocate to Mexico for the duration of the contract
  • Willingness to fundraise for the ministry
