We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Manager to join our team at Marriott International, Inc. as a member of the property Human Resources support staff. The successful candidate will work closely with Human Resources employees to carry out the daily activities of the Human Resource Office, including oversight of recruitment, total compensation, and training and development.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver HR services that meet or exceed the needs of employees and enable business success.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and operating procedures.
- Manage the recruitment and hiring process, including interviewing and hiring Human Resource employee team members.
- Establish and maintain contact with external recruitment sources.
- Administer and educate employee benefits, including unemployment claims and benefits.
- Manage employee development, including training and development programs.
- Maintain effective employee communication channels and resolve employee issues in a timely manner.
- Ensure compliance with legal and compliance practices, including employee files and medical records.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED; 3 years experience in human resources, management operations, or related professional area.
- 2-year degree from an accredited university in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related major; 1 year experience in human resources, management operations, or related professional area.
