Key Responsibilities

As a Commercial Director for Employee Benefits, you will be responsible for maintaining a large book of business of complex or high-yield accounts through frequent sales presentations, calls, and meetings.

You will apply highly developed market and internal service offering insights to sales cold calls to engage potential clients, generate interest, and schedule meetings or presentations.

You will create sales proposals, presentations, and RFP responses that address complex prospect needs and communicate the business value of internal services and offerings.

You will lead complex account processes from identification to closing, including pricing negotiations, product discussions, and securing beneficial financial outcomes.

You will manage research efforts and analyses on relevant markets and industries to identify potential relationship needs, target new accounts, and expand existing ones.

You will interface with account representatives and stakeholders to ensure service satisfaction and uphold promises.

You will maintain professional relationships with new or established account representatives to introduce new products, facilitate market penetration, and encourage cross-op co-sales.

Requirements

You will need a Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of commercial experience in Employee Benefits, with a good understanding of the insurance industry.

You will have strategic thinking, a growth mindset, and extraordinary leadership skills.

You will have excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with intermediate English skills.

You will have strong negotiation and influencing skills, as well as the ability to interact with internal and external executives.

You will be self-motivated, problem-solving oriented, and have goal-setting skills.
