Job Summary

The Sales Executive will be responsible for meeting with prospective guests/owners, presenting them with an opportunity to purchase a vacation ownership experience, and maintaining a professional image that upholds the company standards of integrity, quality, and service to customers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare for each day to meet guest/owners as a professional sales representative through proper dress code and grooming.
  • Adhere to standard work hours and greet each guest/owner in a warm and friendly manner.
  • Use approved presentation and support materials effectively and exclusively to achieve individual performance guidelines.
  • Contribute to achieving overall site VPG and closing percentage at budget levels, as set by management.
  • Provide customer service to guest/owners as specified in training and direction of management.
  • Maintain the highest level of company/competition product knowledge by attending all required training sessions.
  • Adhere to all established policies and procedures, and position requirements for licensures, certifications, etc.
  • Discuss terms and conditions, incentives, points, and product pricing with customers after reviewing strategy with management.
  • Effectively gain commitment from guest/owners to purchase.
  • Complete demo and assessment rides on a regular basis with team leaders & sales managers for the purpose of providing effective coaching and motivation to improve.
  • Model and reinforce effective sales and customer service practices, behaviors, and results.
  • Participate in staff meetings and attend other meetings, such as seminars and training as required.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED or Higher preferable.
  • Proficiency in English and Spanish.
  • Sales/Marketing or tourism career background preferred.
  • Proficiency in computers – software knowledge and skills in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) are a requirement.
  • Exceptional customer service orientation and positive disposition, excellent verbal/written skills and work standards, multitasking, follow-up, building business partnerships, attention to details, thriving on ambiguity, openness to differences and excellent organization skills.
  • Must be willing to work weekends and holidays as required by business needs.
  • Stairs are a part of the building structure; therefore, climbing stairs is mandatory.
  • Processing of paperwork requires visual observations.
  • Verbal communication is necessary for negotiating plans for projects.
  • Availability to work flexible schedules and Vacation Ownership Sales Experience.
