Position Overview

We are currently seeking a Warehouse Management Consultant to become a vital part of our team.

Key Responsibilities

The Warehouse Management Consultant will spearhead a team focused on the deployment of SAP S/4HANA or ECC. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Instruct local teams on fundamental SAP Warehouse Management capabilities and the broader SAP ecosystem.
  • Refine the scope of Warehouse Management processes, identifying any potential gaps.
  • Conduct system demonstrations to highlight existing standard SAP S/4HANA functionalities, securing stakeholder buy-in while pinpointing any gaps or requirements.
  • Translate local business needs into corresponding configuration requirements and execute system setups in S/4HANA or ECC to fulfill client specifications.
  • Identify necessary Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Enhancements, Forms, Workflows, and other development objects to align requirements with SAP functionalities, creating Functional Specification documentation.
  • Collaborate with Security personnel to establish security profiles that meet local requirements.
  • Execute field and value mappings related to data conversion initiatives.
  • Demonstrate the updated system post-configuration and development to validate localization requirements.
  • Provide expertise and support during testing phases, addressing any specific issues that arise.
  • Develop training materials that incorporate requirements and deliver training sessions or workshops as per the training schedules.
  • Offer subject matter expertise during cutover and go-live phases, executing tasks as outlined in the cutover plan.
  • Provide ongoing support post go-live and resolve any issues that may emerge.

Experience Requirements

  • 3-5+ years of experience in SAP S/4HANA and/or SAP ECC configuration and testing, particularly in Warehouse Management processes.
  • Experience with multiple full life-cycle SAP implementations (over 4).
  • Project Management and Team Leadership experience.
  • Proficiency in SAP ECC / S/4HANA Warehouse Management Configuration and testing.

Educational Background

  • Undergraduate degree or a combination of education and relevant work experience.

Essential Skills

  • Comprehensive understanding of system development methodologies, project management, and system architecture, particularly in the context of SAP ECC or S/4HANA implementations.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Capability to assess IT and business challenges from a holistic perspective.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to bridge the gap between non-technical business users and technical IT teams.
  • Client-focused mindset with strong organizational and time management skills.

Language Proficiency

  • Fluency in English is preferred.
