Job Title: Enterprise Project Director

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Enterprise Project Director to join our team at Optima Organizational Solutions. As an Enterprise Project Director, you will be responsible for leading strategic initiatives and managing project teams to achieve enterprise-level projects.

About the Role:

  • Facilitate and lead strategic initiatives for defined customers or users
  • Manage and enhance customer relationships
  • Provide full accountability for project schedules, performance requirements, and project management

Responsibilities:

  1. Ensure all project requirements and objectives are correctly gathered, understood, and translated for execution
  2. Build teams to address project goals and objectives
  3. Collaborate with customers from requirements gathering through product acceptance/approval
  4. Align project teams to customer needs by establishing milestones, goals, and objectives based on input from all functional areas and stakeholders within the project
  5. Review project schedules with functional project managers and project coordinators allocated to projects
  6. Provide guidance and motivation to project teams to successfully achieve project goals and corporate initiatives
  7. Communicate project objectives in terms of overall strategic business objectives
  8. Serve as interface with customers, vendors, stakeholders, and project sponsor(s)
  9. Manage development of project plans with focus on achievement of project goals and corporate initiatives, including project-specific Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) or metrics
  10. Responsible for recognizing project's Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and manage work within scope, quality, time, and cost constraints
  11. Drive project to completion in accordance with the project schedule
  12. Coordinate efforts of the team to develop an integrated project plan and risk analysis with action plans to mitigate risks
  13. Management of resource capacity and time tracking allocated to the project
  14. Participate in financial management and analysis of costs for projects, including Capital Expenditures Requests (CERs), travel, training, resources allocation, and other project-related costs
  15. Accountable for overall project success – including cost, schedule, quality, and scope management
  16. Report project status, issues, and implemented solutions as well as evaluations and assessments of results
  17. Provide leaders with updates, including greatest opportunities for improvement
  18. Recognize potential problem areas against the plan and identify and implement alternative solutions
  19. Identify best-cost solutions to reduce costs by streamlining processes and systems
  20. Provide key stakeholders with regular project performance status, variances to plan, and identification of corrective actions (if required)
  21. Drive continuous improvement through trend reporting analysis and metrics management
  22. Demonstrate a commitment to customer service; anticipate, meet, and exceed expectations by solving problems quickly and effectively, making customer issues a priority
  23. Drive relevant, concise, and effective communication through various mediums
  24. Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy

Requirements:

  • Demonstrated leadership and management capabilities
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or equivalent certification desirable
  • Knowledge of organization's operating policies and procedures required
  • Knowledge of organization's culture and guiding principles
  • Previous experience in manufacturing environment: Engineering, Test, Quality, Planning, Materials, etc
  • Prior experience in customer interface
  • Strong operational and financial knowledge required
  • Substantial knowledge of Jabil and demonstrated ability to leverage organization
  • Consultative skills (ability to understand true customer needs)
  • Good communications skills
  • Distinctive problem-solving leader
  • Should have the following personal characteristics: strong leader, professional, hard-charging, detail-oriented, reliable, calm under fire, creative, with a can-do attitude
  • Electronics Manufacturing background experience as required

Education & Experience Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree required (Supply Chain Management or Engineering)
  • PMP certified professional is desirable
  • Minimum 2 years work-related experience required in a supervisory/management role and
  • Minimum 2 years project management experience or related discipline
  • Or an equivalent combination of education, training, and/or experience

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
