Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Intermodal Sales Executive to join our team at CPKC. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for managing key Intermodal customers, generating quality revenue growth, and building lasting client relationships.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain direct communication with other KCS departments to ensure marketing and sales plans are aligned.
  • Manage customer relationships with key current and future customers, partners, and stakeholders.
  • Effectively communicate terms of sale and collaborate with key stakeholders to execute account and commodity sales strategy.
  • Serve as the main contact for assigned customers.
  • Establish strategies for markets and develop account plans.
  • Plan and own oversight and analysis of revenue and contributions, forecasting market outlook.
  • Develop creative solutions and make value trades during negotiations.
  • Optimize market share, meet yield, price, and total revenue targets.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a job-related major field of study.
  • Minimum five years of relevant professional experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Bilingual in English and Spanish, written and spoken.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced degree in Business, Marketing, or related field.
  • KCS network experience in sales, marketing, customer relations, rail, or logistics.
Working Conditions
  • Regular full-time schedule with a normal work week of Monday through Friday.
  • Occasional work after hours or weekends may be required.
  • Minimal travel up to 10% of the time.
