Job Summary

The Director of Financial Assets and Compliance is responsible for managing the financial assets of Aib International, ensuring compliance with regulations, and analyzing and mitigating financial and business risks.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage all banking and investment relationships, including relationships with banks and financial institutions.
  • Prepare bank account analyses and cash flow forecasts as needed, ensuring accurate and timely information for financial decision-making.
  • Ensure monthly bank account reconciliations are performed in a timely manner to support the General Ledger team and the monthly financial close.
  • Serve as a bank signatory, online transaction approver, and account administrator, providing user authorizations and maintaining the responsibility matrix chart.
  • Manage bank account access, administration, and education of users, ensuring secure and compliant access to financial systems.
  • Identify, educate, and ensure access for backup bank system administrators and transaction approvers, maintaining business continuity and compliance.
  • Conduct fraud and money laundering monitoring and internal staff education, ensuring a secure financial environment.
  • Manage ACH, BACS, and wire transfer setup delegation and approvals, ensuring efficient and compliant financial transactions.
  • Maintain banking controls, including positive pay, online, and physical access to blank checks, wires, and ACH, ensuring secure and compliant financial operations.
  • Review and approve UK bank mandates as needed, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Manage bank business inquiry responses and know-your-customer (KYC) audit responses, maintaining a compliant and secure financial environment.
  • Respond to government surveys and inquiries, ensuring timely and accurate information.
  • Maintain Daily Cash transaction worksheets per bank account, ensuring accurate and timely financial information.
  • Provide the prior weeks' cash deposit summary report for the Monday ELT huddle meeting, ensuring timely and accurate information.
  • Complete the analysis of monthly bank fees and charges, ensuring accurate and timely financial information.
  • Manage intercompany cash transactions, ensuring efficient and compliant financial operations.
  • Manage intercompany transfer pricing scheme, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Complete the annual FinCEN/FBAR report to the US Department of Treasury, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Work with the Accounts Payable team to anticipate cash needs and forecasted payments, ensuring accurate and timely financial information.
  • Work with the Accounts Receivable team to anticipate cash receipts and forecasted receivables, ensuring accurate and timely financial information.
  • Work with the General Ledger team to properly record bank transactions and banking-related expenses, ensuring accurate and timely financial information.
  • Coordinate General Ledger and Accounts Payable teamwork related to various taxes, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Work with the Manager, Payroll for payroll cash flow analysis, ensuring accurate and timely financial information.
  • Provide payroll funding support for China, Mexico, and Australia, ensuring efficient and compliant financial operations.
  • Manage company credit card programs, ensuring secure and compliant financial operations.
  • Lead the travel and affinity program as the relationship manager for travel partners, ensuring efficient and compliant financial operations.
  • Lead the debt management efforts, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Lead all investment account management, ensuring secure and compliant financial operations.
  • Lead the business risk insurance process, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Serve as AIBI-CS Board support as Secretary Treasurer, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Manage one staff member: Associate, Finance in Mexico, ensuring efficient and compliant financial operations.
  • Maintain knowledge through continuing professional education, ensuring up-to-date skills and knowledge.
  • Perform other activities as directed, ensuring compliance with regulations.
