About This Opportunity: We're seeking a skilled Travel Sales Specialist to join our team at Arrivia. As a key member of our sales team, you'll be responsible for promoting our travel products and services to existing and prospective members.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Reach out to customers to discuss travel and vacation options
  • Promote and sell products/services using solid arguments to existing and prospective members
  • Perform cost-benefit and needs analysis of existing/potential members to meet their needs
  • Answer questions about product specifications and pricing
  • Upsell members to larger products, more extensive packages, and/or higher priced services
  • Establish, develop, and maintain positive business and member relationships
  • Coordinate sales effort with team members and other departments
  • Keep abreast of best practices and promotional trends
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints to maximize member's satisfaction through maintaining excellent customer service
  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
  • Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports

Requirements:

  • 2+ years successful sales experience in high volume environment
  • Sales experience in the travel industry is preferred
  • Enhanced sales skills and follow-through when assisting customers to achieve preset sales quotas and performance standards
  • Ability to use Microsoft Office suite specifically: MS Word, Excel, and Outlook, along with other proprietary database software
  • English proficiency
