Job Title: Senior Brand Communications Manager
Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Brand Communications Manager to join our team at Adidas. As a key member of our marketing communications team, you will be responsible for developing and executing integrated marketing communications strategies that drive business results and support our global and business unit marketing objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Partner with BU product managers to develop marketing and communication plans that drive business unit results and lead to effective communication activities.
- Manage the development of short and long-term communications strategies based on the global SBP and specific business unit objectives.
- Drive the development of an effective channel-planning strategy based on consumer and marketing objectives.
- Create comprehensive action plans for all BU communications projects to maximize brand and product exposure while maximizing efficiencies.
- Remain up-to-date on the fast-developing media environment and new media technologies and opportunities.
- Ensure constant communication with markets to enable local opportunities to activate and amplify partnerships.
- Identify communication opportunities and coordinate with day-to-day management of all other marketing disciplines.
- Manage global and local agencies across projects and activities for the business unit.
- Oversee the development of communication tools from conception to implementation.
- Design and monitor the business unit and global communications plan and benchmark progress in brand perception in markets.
- Design post-campaign evaluation performance by conducting or coordinating research and tracking project development.
- Manage communications and advertising specific budgets and spending strategies.
Requirements:
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills and high level of strategic thinking.
- Broad experience in marketing communications, campaign development, and execution.
- Deep-rooted understanding of an ever-changing marketing landscape and advanced experience in project management.
- Ability to collaborate and manage platforms and tools used by multiple functions.
- Broad understanding of and passion for the sports and fashion/entertainment industry.
- Excellent presentation and organizational skills.
- Strategic thinker.
Education and Experience:
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, Retail, Digital, or a related field.
- Master's Degree/MBA a plus.
- 8+ years' industry and/or relevant work experience.
- Fluent written and spoken English and Spanish language skills.
