Controllership Oversight:

Manage and direct controllership functions for multiple legal entities in North America and Mexico, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and internal controls. Collaborate closely with tax and treasury departments to navigate complex financial transactions and maintain accurate financial reporting.

Financial Planning & Analysis:

Lead the financial planning and analysis processes, including annual operating plans and strategic planning initiatives. Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, providing insights on financial implications of business decisions and holding teams accountable for their financial performance.

Leadership and Mentorship:

Serve as a mentor and leader for finance teams, particularly in the Mexicali and Torrance locations. Work collaboratively with plant management to enhance financial controls and ensure adherence to Garrett's policies across all functions.

Key Qualifications:

  • Professional qualification in finance or a degree in accounting.
  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in finance roles, particularly in manufacturing and financial planning.
  • Proven experience in finance controllership and business partnering within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong technical proficiency in SAP, HFM, and financial planning methodologies, along with a solid understanding of US GAAP and Sarbanes-Oxley regulations.
  • In-depth knowledge of manufacturing processes and financial policies.
