About the Role:

The Financial Contract Reporting and Administration department at Warner Bros. Discovery is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to provide administrative support for the Participations Reporting Group.

Responsibilities:

  • Process and manage financial statements and reports using the Sylvester application.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date filing systems and electronic document retention systems.
  • Update and maintain status using JIRA, a tracking tool.
  • Assist in research related to participant inquiries and other ad hoc projects.
  • Create quarterly calendars and schedule meetings and department training for statement reporting teams.

Requirements:

  • 1-2 years of prior work experience in a related field.
  • Previous accounting or financial experience is a plus.
  • Previous experience in the entertainment industry is a plus.
  • BA/BS Degree or equivalent years of work experience required.
  • Accounting or Finance degree is a plus.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Thorough understanding of Excel.
  • Strong planning, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to interact professionally with all levels of personnel and management.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Windows environment, including Excel and Word.
  • Strong time management skills to manage multiple tasks.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to adapt and learn new technology.
