About the Role:
The Financial Contract Reporting and Administration department at Warner Bros. Discovery is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to provide administrative support for the Participations Reporting Group.
Responsibilities:
- Process and manage financial statements and reports using the Sylvester application.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date filing systems and electronic document retention systems.
- Update and maintain status using JIRA, a tracking tool.
- Assist in research related to participant inquiries and other ad hoc projects.
- Create quarterly calendars and schedule meetings and department training for statement reporting teams.
Requirements:
- 1-2 years of prior work experience in a related field.
- Previous accounting or financial experience is a plus.
- Previous experience in the entertainment industry is a plus.
- BA/BS Degree or equivalent years of work experience required.
- Accounting or Finance degree is a plus.
Skills and Qualifications:
- Thorough understanding of Excel.
- Strong planning, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to interact professionally with all levels of personnel and management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows environment, including Excel and Word.
- Strong time management skills to manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Ability to adapt and learn new technology.
