At Kroll, we're seeking a skilled professional to drive our Valuation Services forward. As Senior Valuation Expert, you'll be responsible for delivering exceptional results in company and asset valuations, strategic financial advisory, mergers and acquisitions, and private placements. Your expertise will help shape our clients' strategic decisions in the global oil and gas sector.

Your key responsibilities will include owning and managing workstreams, coordinating financial models, and reviewing the work of junior team members. You'll also interact with clients to gather data and present reports, build strong relationships, and stay up-to-date on market and regulatory changes.

To succeed in this role, you'll have 5-6 years of experience in strategy consulting, financial advisory, investment banking, or private equity, with a strong background in financial modeling and transaction advisory. Prior experience in oil and gas or energy is highly desirable. You'll also bring a proven track record of leadership, mentorship, and staff development.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality valuations, financial models, and advisory services to clients in the oil and gas sector.
  • Manage and coordinate projects, including workstreams and financial models.
  • Review and mentor junior team members to ensure high-quality deliverables.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, including virtual and face-to-face meetings.
  • Stay up-to-date on market and regulatory changes, and provide timely and accurate reports to senior management.

Requirements:

  • 5-6 years of experience in strategy consulting, financial advisory, investment banking, or private equity.
  • Strong background in financial modeling and transaction advisory.
  • Prior experience in oil and gas or energy is highly desirable.
  • CFA professional designation is a plus.
  • Proven track record of leadership, mentorship, and staff development.
  • Detail-oriented and meticulous, with a strong desire for timeliness and accuracy.
  • Ability to own projects and work processes with minimal oversight.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit, with flexibility and resourcefulness in ambiguous situations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness to travel extensively and globally.
