The Head of Strategy and Sustainability for HSBC Mexico and Latin America will lead the development and implementation of the company's strategic direction for the region. Key Responsibilities- Strategic Leadership: Develop and implement the company's strategic direction for HSBC Mexico and Latin America, in close collaboration with leadership teams and Country CEOs.
- Regulatory Reporting: Lead the design and deployment of an improved regulatory reporting framework, ensuring full compliance with HBMX regulatory requirements.
- Sustainability: Lead the deployment of the Group's sustainability agenda in country and Region, including the Future Skills strategy and the Sustainable Finance programme.
- Team Management: Lead a small, highly effective team supporting the implementation of the growth agenda in Mexico through analysis, thought leadership, interpersonal skills, and rigorous tracking.
- Business Development: Formulate and implement strategies for HSBC Latin America and HSBC Mexico, driving their execution and ensuring alignment with the company's global objectives.
- Stakeholder Management: Consolidate key-stakeholder relations across businesses and functions in HBMX, building strong and trusted partnerships to strengthen reports ownership and sustainable practices.
- Advisory Role: Act as a subject matter expert and provide advice and guidance to HSBC Businesses and Functions on regulatory reporting, sustainability, and strategic planning.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in strategic planning, regulatory reporting, and sustainability, with experience in leading teams and driving business growth. They will be able to demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
