Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Cloud Solutions Engineer to join our team at Google. As a Cloud Solutions Engineer, you will be responsible for building partner-specific, go-to-market solutions to reduce business cycles and drive partner business growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own the technical relationship with partners, empowering them to drive a successful pilot or proof-of-concept, support partners drive toward customer acceptance of the technical proposal, leading to an agreement.
  • Work with partners during the migration phase to assure they have all the tools necessary to deliver a successful deployment.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with partners, understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions to meet those needs.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 3 years of experience with Big Data technologies, analytic warehousing technologies, data processing technologies, and performance and scalability optimizations.
  • Experience with cloud computing platforms.
  • Experience in delivering technical presentations while leading detailed discovery and planning sessions that are aligned jointly with the customer with defined scope and success criteria.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with developing data warehousing, data lakes, batch/real-time event processing, streaming, data processing (ETL/ELT), data migrations, data visualization tools and data governance on cloud native architectures.
  • Experience with architecture design, implementing, tuning, schema design and query optimization of scalable and distributed systems.
  • Experience with technical sales or professional consulting in the fields of cloud computing, data analytics, and Big Data.
  • Knowledge of cloud computing and cloud market, engaged dynamics and customer buying behavior.
  • Understanding of customer requirements, with the ability to break down the requirements and design a technical architecture.
