Job Summary:

The Security Coordinator will be responsible for the management and operation of security personnel, surveillance camera systems, and the identification of potential internal and external hazards to evaluate risks. This role will collaborate with other areas to take preventive actions to avoid possible security incidents that may affect the organization, operation, and personnel. The Security Coordinator will also participate actively in maintaining the company's OEA certification.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the Security Team's performance, ensuring security protection and service levels for related areas to ensure operation compliance with security standards and procedures.
  • Ensure collaboration with all related areas to maintain OEA certification and participate actively in ensuring compliance and re-certification for the site and operation.
  • Understand and have knowledge of all operations and installations to perform Risk Assessments with multidisciplinary teams to determine the risk level according to security hazards and prioritize action plans to reduce risk and avoid possible security incidents in operations.
  • Perform preventive investigations of suspicious behaviors or situations to avoid security incidents, and perform corrective investigations when an incident or situation is reported/occurred in operations to find evidence and work with responsible areas to determine root-cause and corrective/preventive actions to avoid recurrence.
  • Report security incidents and ensure proper investigation, follow-up, and closure.
  • Perform daily Gemba and internal audits to ensure security compliance according to procedures in operations.
  • Implement projects in collaboration with other areas that may include infrastructure, technology, and administrative controls to ensure improvements or proper compliance with security controls.
  • Establish strong relations with internal stakeholders, external committees, neighborhood companies, and local/government security corporations.

Requirements:

  • Relevant Bachelor's or master's degree combined with a minimum of 5 years' professional experience.
  • Personal management.
  • Knowledge in Security Technologies (CCTV, Access Controls, etc.).
  • Ability to understand/interpret data and prepare reports.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization, individually, in groups, and across cultures.
  • You are a self-starter with a high commitment and a can-do attitude, and not afraid of handling conflicts and following up on activities.
