The position is designed to formulate and implement strategies pertaining to Receiving, Warehousing, Cycle Counting, and Inter Plant Transferring of all inventory across Mexico.Key Responsibilities:
Guarantee that warehouse operations function at optimal efficiency, prioritizing customer satisfaction by supervising, organizing, and training warehouse staff while establishing, monitoring, and managing operational objectives. Develop systems for warehouse operations by assessing product handling and storage needs, equipment usage, inventory management, gate processes, and shipping techniques. Train and oversee the warehouse team to address daily operational challenges and achieve both short-term and long-term performance targets. Manage daily operations while overseeing inventory and logistics management. Review and prepare workflows, staffing needs, space allocations, equipment configurations, and action plans that align with company standards for productivity, quality, and customer service. Ensure a safe and healthy workplace by establishing and enforcing standards and procedures, adhering to legal regulations. Supervise daily warehouse functions, including inventory control, space management, logistics, and floor productivity. Schedule and manage the warehouse team, ensuring efficient workflow and quality of work to maximize productivity and minimize overtime. Regularly inspect equipment, tools, and machinery, overseeing maintenance as required. Conduct regular meetings with warehouse leads to evaluate productivity and formulate actionable plans for loss prevention. Uphold and drive adherence to inventory control policies aligned with business objectives. Collaborate with the Supply Chain Manager and procurement teams to standardize inventory processes. Provide assistance to production areas by replenishing and expediting materials to the production floor. Responsible for optimizing and monitoring KPIs related to inventory control and budget management for the warehouses in Mexico. Lead the Inventory/Cycle count team in conducting daily cycle counts, monthly or yearly physical inventories, and inventory reconciliations. Collaborate on cross-functional inventory optimization projects from conception to execution. Participate in annual budgeting processes. Comply with and support C-TPAT regulations. Initiate and drive warehouse automation and cost-reduction improvements. Proactively manage non-moving stock actions in close collaboration with merchandising and demand planning teams.Qualifications & Skills:
College degree or equivalent experience. Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Warehouse Supervisor. Proficient in Microsoft Office and Excel; experience with SQL or ERP systems is preferred. Previous experience in the manufacturing sector with a strong understanding of ERP systems. Strong leadership, motivational, and team-building capabilities. Ability to swiftly analyze and resolve complex issues. Moderate to advanced skills in lean manufacturing techniques are advantageous.
