Role Definition

The Total Rewards Specialist is an experienced professional who provides compensation and benefits services to internal customers in the areas of compensation, benefits, mobility, and job evaluation. This role requires a strong analytical mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently.

Key Responsibilities

  • Job Evaluation: Investigate, describe, analyze, interpret, and compare positions to provide grade level recommendations that accurately reflect job scope, responsibility, and relationship with other jobs.
  • Salary Administration: Analyze market and organization compensation data, develop annual salary planning to determine company competitiveness level, implement and administer compensation policy, and work on special research projects.
  • Incentive Administration: Administer and maintain various short-term incentive plans, analyze data related to each plan to ensure compliance and accurate and timely payouts.
  • Benefits Administration: Analyze market and organization benefits data, implement the company's benefits policy, act as a liaison with insurance carriers to obtain premium quotes and renewals, stay abreast of current trends and regulatory issues surrounding social benefits plan design and administration, and work with local HR leaders on benefits budgets and proposals.
  • Mobility: Provide effective relocation advice and guidance to ISE coordinators, HR managers, and International Services Employees (ISEs) in regard to foreign assignments or domestic transfers.
  • Pension: Administer and maintain pension plans, analyze data related to each plan to ensure compliance and accurate and timely retirement payouts.
  • Stock Options: Provide effective administration of stock option plans across all legal entities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 3-5 years of working experience as a specialist in HR, compensation, and benefits, or related areas
  • Experience developing salary and benefits structures
  • Fluent English
