About This Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Human Resources Business Partner to join our team at Servicios Comerciales Amazon Mexico S. de R.L. de C.V. - D44. As a key member of our HR team, you will partner with business leaders to deliver HR initiatives focused on internal customer service, employee onboarding, talent management, and employee engagement.

About the Team

This role will support employees and managers in Mexico City, as well as non-Tech employees in Brazil and Costa Rica, while partnering closely with the U.S. based HRBP functional leaders. You will be part of the Tech HRBP team, reporting into the Senior HR Leader for Tech, and will partner very closely with HR Centers of Excellence across Audible and Amazon.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Provide full HR partnership to the Mexico based leadership team and employees, including guidance on compensation, performance management, and employee development.
  2. Contribute to and drive Human Resources projects and initiatives in line with objectives, such as employee engagement strategies and rewards and recognition programs.
  3. Use data and metrics to identify trends, anticipate business needs, and implement action plans focused on employee experience and organizational health.
  4. Champion change focused on creating and fostering a diverse, equitable and inclusive environment for all employees.
  5. Hold leaders accountable to equitable selection, retention, and development of their employees.
  6. Guide managers with all aspects of the employee lifecycle, including compensation, performance management and employee development.
  7. Handle employee relations issues self-sufficiently and guide managers with handling cases appropriately.
  8. Be the subject matter expert on HR and employment law requirements, providing HR guidance and support to the team.
  9. Partner with Amazon HR team when needed including escalation and resolution of operations issues.
  10. Be the subject matter expert for all HR related matters who can pull in additional functional HR support when needed.
