HR Business Partner Role Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled HR Business Partner to join our team at International Flavors & Fragrances. As a key member of our HR people services team, you will report to the HR Director and be responsible for providing strategic HR support and solutions to our leaders and teams across manufacturing sites.

This role is a critical point of contact for managers and employees, providing counsel, coaching, and support on HR fundamentals and employee-related questions. You will work closely with local, regional, and global leaders to drive business outcomes and ensure the effective implementation of HR strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Provide high-level coaching, guidance, and support to leaders and team members, focusing on self-service and empowering people managers.
  2. Promptly provide responses regarding change management, ensuring a smooth transition for employees and stakeholders.
  3. Develop and implement full-range strategic HR services for client groups, with overall responsibility for developing, directing, and coordinating HR strategies, policies, procedures, and resource deployment.
  4. Facilitate line management's ability to lead change processes, ensuring a collaborative and inclusive approach.
  5. Establish HR as a visible and high-value business partner with local management and all other key stakeholders, driving business outcomes and growth.
  6. Ensure compliance with legal mandatory requirements for people-related aspects, including labor laws, regulations, and industry standards.
  7. Effectively manage union relationships through discussion, consultation, and negotiation, maintaining a positive and productive work environment.
About You

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualification in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience of more than 7 years in HR roles within a manufacturing environment, with a strong track record of delivering results.
  • Strong advisory, consultancy, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret different types of industrial agreements.
  • Good experience working in a fast-paced, multi-level organization, with a multidisciplinary structure.
  • Ability to think differently and challenge boundaries, driving innovation and growth.
  • Proficient in employee relations and compliance management, with a customer-first and team-spirited mentality.
