Job Title: ServiceNow ITOM Developer

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow ITOM Developer to join our team at Infosys. As a ServiceNow ITOM Developer, you will play a critical role in designing and implementing complex ServiceNow deployments aligned to industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Work closely with executive stakeholders, business stakeholders, and subject matter experts to translate functional and technical requirements into implementation work packages.
  2. Interact with architecture, platforms, application, and infrastructure teams to understand and design solutions.
  3. Champion ServiceNow's ITSM implementations and lead the development of IT service management solutions.
  4. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate risks and issues related to application and infrastructure service mapping.
  5. Design and implement large and complex business service mapping solutions, including CMDB and discovery tools.
  6. Develop and maintain documentation of configured metrics and configurations.
  7. Interact with infrastructure, network, and application stakeholders to determine appropriate monitoring needs.
  8. Develop solutions based on ITIL good practices and implementations.

Requirements:

  1. Minimum 5 years of industry experience with discovery, service mapping, and CMDB build, with hands-on experience in small and large implementations.
  2. Proven track record in successfully designing and implementing CMDB for an enterprise.
  3. Experience with industry-leading discovery tools.
  4. Knowledge of IT infrastructure components and properties in scope of service mapping.
  5. Ability to understand application architecture and design service maps accordingly.
  6. Experience with event management alert setup in service mapping.
  7. Expertise in identifying functional, technical, and business requirements and providing solutions.
  8. Ability to support monitoring practice development initiatives, customer presentations, and demonstrations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Good understanding of architecture and infrastructure concepts and ITIL implementation.
  2. Certified System Administrator and Certified Implementation Specialist (ITOM).
  3. Planning and coordination skills.
  4. Good communication and analytical skills.
