IT Support Technician

We are seeking a skilled IT Support Technician to provide hardware and software support to our team in the Americas region.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide escalated support for hardware, software assets, inventories, and desktops/laptops
  • Assist colleagues with server and networking requests and guidance
  • Build, configure, and ship desktops/laptops and IT accessories according to departmental standards
  • Offer local and remote hardware and software support for Lionbridge users in North America based on ticket management in the Lionbridge helpdesk ticketing system
  • Diagnose, troubleshoot, and maintain all hardware and software-related issues for users, on-site and remotely
  • Assist in documenting IT technical instructions, processes, and procedures
  • Ensure inventory and tracking system is always up to date
Requirements:
  • 2-3 years of hands-on experience in hardware and software support
  • Strong customer service skills and ability to work well with all levels of the organization
  • Experience with Active Directory, network connectivity devices, and server and server software management practices
  • Experience with IT security best practices
  • Understanding of ITIL fundamentals and practices
  • Self-motivated with a demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team
