Logistics Representative Job Description

C.H. Robinson is seeking a skilled Logistics Representative to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing customer supply chain information and data within our Transportation Management System. You will serve as an extension of the customer's staff, ensuring that all information flows properly and efficiently, and all transportation arrangements are made.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor customer load boards and information flow in the Transportation Management System (TMS)
  • Perform relationship and knowledge-based exception management to any pre-defined processes
  • Document and organize existing standard operating processes
  • Facilitate customer calls, emails, and updates while providing best-in-class customer service
  • Conduct CHR systems trainings to external CHR customer representatives
  • Manage reconciliation of daily, weekly, monthly, and quarterly reports
  • Serve as a logistics expert and provide suggestions to customers to ensure maximum effectiveness
  • Act as a resource and support for peers when needed
  • Utilize project-based delivery model to find process improvements and cost savings within area of responsibility and/or team
Requirements:
  • High School diploma or GED
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Supply Chain, Transportation, and/or Logistics
  • Ability to work flexible schedule on occasion
  • Ability to travel up to 5% (domestic and/or international)
  • Site Specific: Fluent in Spanish and English (written and verbal)
