Director of People Strategy Job Description
This pivotal role spearheads the overarching HR strategy, policies, and initiatives across our entire organization in LATAM. You will collaborate closely with executive leadership and industry stakeholders to ensure seamless alignment between HR endeavors and business goals.
Your Impact:
- You will develop and execute a comprehensive HR strategy that supports the organization's growth, fosters talent development, and enhances employee engagement.
- You will lead a team of HR People Strategy professionals in LATAM, providing guidance, mentorship, and fostering a collaborative and high-performing culture within the department.
- You will partner closely with executive leadership and key stakeholders to align HR initiatives with business goals, providing insights and recommendations to enhance organizational effectiveness.
- You will collaborate with Publicis Groupe global people strategy teams to design and activate local people solutions.
- You will drive initiatives related to employee development, performance management, and succession planning to enhance individual and team capabilities.
- You will champion diversity, equity, and inclusion initiatives, fostering a workplace culture that values and celebrates differences.
- You will ensure HR policies and practices follow relevant labor laws and regulations, managing any potential risks.
- You will drive change management efforts to support organizational transformation and growth.
- You will stay current with industry trends and best practices to continually evolve HR strategies.
- You will serve as a member of the LATAM leadership team and provide strategic business partner support and coaching to executive leaders.
Key Qualifications:
Your Skills & Experience:
- You must be fluent in Spanish and English, with Portuguese language skills preferred.
- You should have demonstrated expertise in overseeing HR operations within Latin America, coupled with active engagement in global HR collaboration across diverse geographical regions.
- You should have delivered programs such as competency model development, evaluation methodology, and coaching, while balancing local and global people-related initiatives.
- You should have experience with post-acquisition integrations from both a strategic and tactical perspective.
- You should have prior success operating in a global, highly-matrixed organization.
- You should have expertise in working with strategy teams in a global capacity to design and manage program implementation and execution.
- You should have a proven track record of creating and implementing regional talent strategies to meet ever-changing business needs in a Strategy Consulting environment.
- You should be able to manage sometimes-conflicting priorities of various leadership teams and initiatives while producing exceptional results.
- You should be comfortable working within an agile methodology.
- You should have a demonstrated understanding of personalities and behavioral styles to work collaboratively with various people and make informed decisions regarding organizational design and effective relationship management.
- You should have commercial acumen, including a good overall understanding of company finances.
- You should have a strong business orientation and demonstrated success at driving business results through people-based solutions.
Salary Information:
The estimated annual salary for this position is $120,000-$180,000 USD, depending on experience.
