Strategic HR Leader for Luxury Hotel Operations

The Ennismore brand is recognized for its exceptional hospitality and high-end service. We are seeking an experienced Strategic HR Leader to join our team in Miami, responsible for leading the Human Resources function for multiple properties as assigned.

As a key member of our leadership team, you will report directly to the General Manager and Regional VP of People & Culture, ensuring seamless execution of short and long-term strategies. Your expertise will be crucial in recommending departmental budgets, managing expenses, and maintaining thorough knowledge of all Human Resources/employee regulations and laws.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Direct and supervise the People & Culture team
  • Prepare and maintain the People & Culture budget
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Human Resources/employee regulations and laws
  • Communicate new policies and information to all team members
  • Ensure hotel-wide compliance with HR policies and procedures

You will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring recruitment, screening, background checks, hiring, and onboarding processes for all properties. Additionally, you will maintain and communicate team member benefits and wellness programs, set up and approve wage and salary programs, and coordinate performance evaluations.

Requirements:
  • College degree in Business, Hospitality, or related field preferred
  • SHRM certification preferred
  • At least five years of progressive Human Resources experience in a senior HR leadership role in a hotel or related industry
  • Familiarity with employment laws required
  • Ability to create, implement, and monitor hotel and staff goals, strategies, and policies

As a Strategic HR Leader, you will have excellent communication skills, the ability to navigate complexity, and a high level of energy and motivation. You must possess a proficient understanding of computer systems such as Opera, Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and HRIS systems. Our ideal candidate will be able to work independently and partner with others to promote a teamwork environment.

Estimated Salary:

$120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on experience
