Job Title: Advisor/Consultant - Program Manager

Belcan is seeking a highly skilled Advisor/Consultant - Program Manager to work with our customers throughout México. As a subcontracted advisor, you will deploy to our customers and/or suppliers as needed to support projects related to strategic manufacturing and supply chain leadership and ASPICE consulting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Oversee and coordinate different related projects to ensure they benefit one another and meet business goals.
  • Organize various programs and activities to improve customer company efficiencies, building long-term goals for company projects, and developing program and project budgets.
  • Devising new programs that support the organization's objectives.
  • Developing sustainable goals for the organization.
  • Working with other departments to develop budgets and plans for the programs.
  • Monitoring projects and overseeing project managers to ensure goals are met.
  • Meeting with stakeholders to discuss program status and goals.
  • Managing and being accountable for the contract performance for divisional programs or a set of related projects to achieve programmatic business objectives throughout the program lifecycle.
  • Serving as the customer advocate and ensuring effective program management processes, schedule, cost, resources, risk, project change management, and commitments to customers are met.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Sciences, Business, or a related field.
  • Bi-lingual candidate (fluid/conversational in English and Spanish).
  • PMP certification strongly encouraged.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of the job typically acquired through 10+ years related work experience; including leading multiple projects of varying complexity and scope and direct leadership of teams.
  • In-depth knowledge and proficiency with automotive program management processes, methodology, and architecture.
  • Ability to effectively demonstrate business skills and lead cross-functional matrixed teams across a suite of related projects.
  • Thorough knowledge of automotive industry practices and the marketplace associated with fielded product or service.
  • In-depth knowledge of automotive procurement requirements and understanding of financial and labor cost systems and production processes.
  • Proficient in the use of business applications software and the ability to use specialized project management and financial applications.
  • Ability to analyze and interpret complex policies, contractual language, and financial reports.
  • Ability to respond to and negotiate with customers, regulatory agencies, or members of the business community. Ability to develop effective written communication and present information to various levels of management, customers, and/or suppliers.
