We are seeking a skilled Airport Operations Agent to join our team at American Airlines. As a key member of our airport operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our airport facilities.
**Key Responsibilities**:
Provide exceptional customer service to passengers and colleagues
Assist with security screening and passenger service procedures at check-in and in the gate area
Process reservations, issue tickets, and provide required check-in processes
Check baggage and inform passengers of excess baggage charges
Ability to lift and carry bags and boxes weighing up to 70 lbs
Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time
**Requirements**:
High school diploma
Working knowledge of Sabre
Ability to work a variety of shifts, according to operational needs
Excellent customer service, communication, and organizational skills
Excellent personal grooming established by company standards
Proactive team player
Ability to work under pressure
Ability to read, write, fluently speak, and understand English and the native language
