Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Operations Handler to join our team at Federal Express Corporation LAC. As an Operations Handler, you will play a critical role in ensuring the efficient and safe delivery and pickup of packages.

Key Responsibilities
  • Package Handling: Check packages to ensure proper labeling, legality of content, and compliance with safety regulations.
  • Documentation: Complete necessary paperwork, including airway bills, delivery records, and vehicle condition reports.
  • Customer Service: Seek additional business from current customers and inform Station Ops. Manager and Sales of changes in customer/competitor efforts.
  • Vehicle Operations: Load and unload company aircraft and vehicles in a safe manner and perform basic maintenance.
  • Sorting and Auditing: Audit size and weight of packages and boxes and sort them accordingly.
Requirements
  • Education: Middle School degree or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience: Experience operating ramp and warehouse equipment preferred.
  • Skills: Basic English skills, ability to lift 70 lbs, and to maneuver packages weighing up to 150 lbs with appropriate equipment.
