About the Role

Citi is seeking a highly skilled Business Development Manager to join our team. As a key member of our commercial banking team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our clients, identifying new business opportunities, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Relationship Management: Develop and maintain strong relationships with our high-value SME clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions to drive sales growth.
  • Business Development: Identify and pursue new business opportunities, working closely with our relationship managers to close deals and expand our client base.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay up-to-date with our product offerings and ensure that our relationship bankers have the necessary knowledge to effectively sell our products to clients.
  • Team Management: Supervise and manage the activity of our commercial relationship bankers, ensuring that they are meeting their sales targets and providing excellent customer service.
Requirements
  • Experience: 2-5 years of experience in financial services, with a focus on financial planning and commercial banking.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
  • Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, attention to detail, solid relationship-building skills, and the ability to organize and prioritize work.
