Job Summary

The IT Business Senior Analyst is a key role that bridges the gap between business users and technologists, facilitating effective communication and collaboration to drive business planning and performance improvement.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and define systems scope and objectives for complex projects, ensuring seamless communication between business leaders and IT teams.
  • Consult with users and clients to resolve complex system issues, leveraging in-depth evaluation of business processes, systems, and industry standards to recommend solutions.
  • Support system change processes from requirements through implementation, providing input based on analysis of information and ensuring successful system adoption.
  • Collaborate with business clients to determine system functional specifications and provide user and operational support, acting as an advisor or coach to new or lower-level analysts.
  • Exercise independence of judgment and autonomy, operating with a limited level of direct supervision and acting as a subject matter expert to senior stakeholders and team members.
Requirements
  • 5-8 years of relevant experience in data analysis, with intermediate/advanced Microsoft Office Suite skills.
  • Proven interpersonal, data analysis, diplomatic, management, and prioritization skills, with the ability to manage multiple activities and build/working relationships.
  • Consistently demonstrate clear and concise written and verbal communication, with the ability to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines and approach work methodically with attention to detail.
  • Bachelor's degree/University degree or equivalent experience, with a strong understanding of business requirements, documentation of use cases, and experience with agile methodologies and JIRA platform.
