We're seeking a skilled Contract Manager to lead our strategic agreements and negotiate contracts with regional customers. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for reviewing and mitigating contractual risks, guiding colleagues on best practices, and serving as a trusted advisor on contractual matters.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the negotiation and drafting of regional corporate discount agreements, consortium agreements, and master agreements.
  • Identify and mitigate contractual risks, providing guidance to colleagues on risk management.
  • Collaborate with business units, legal counsel, and other functions to obtain approval for non-standard contractual positions.
  • Develop and implement training plans on company contracting processes.
  • Network globally with key contacts to drive business growth.
  • Continuously develop skills and knowledge to stay ahead in the industry.
  • Contribute to departmental process improvements and project activities.
  • Participate in global calls and meetings via phone, Teams, or occasional travel.

Requirements:

  • 5-8 years of experience in negotiating sales or purchase contracts.
  • Bachelor's Degree in law or business or related field.
  • Hybrid work-from-home and at a Rockwell Automation facility in the Americas or previously approved remote work status.
  • Excellent English speaking, comprehension, and writing skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Post-graduate law degree.
  • Experience with negotiating contracts for Engineered-To-Order Solutions, Engineering Services, Software, Industrial Automation, and/or Technology.
  • Confidence in speaking in group settings and initiative to drive negotiations to a close.
  • Strategic business focus and strong code of ethics.
  • Spanish and/or Portuguese speaking, comprehension, and writing skills.
