About the Role

**Job Summary:**

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Business Development Manager to join our team at Assurant, Inc. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and developing strategic relationships with our retail partners.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to increase sales of Mobile programs at assigned retail partners.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with retail and carrier managers to achieve sales goals.
  • Design and deliver training programs for retail management to enhance sales skills.
  • Monitor and analyze sales reports to ensure sales goals are met and identify areas for improvement.
  • Collaborate with Assurant management to develop and enhance our relationship with retail partners at all levels.
  • Communicate sales results and plans for point-of-sale marketing efforts to retail partners and Assurant management.
  • Serve as the primary contact between Assurant and retail partners.
  • Develop and execute promotions and contests for Mobile sales achievements in partnership with retail partners.
  • Ensure travel budget adherence and control expenses while maintaining quality of client service.
  • Identify and assist in resolving customer and client service quality process issues with Assurant Account Executives.

Requirements:

  • University graduate with a degree in Business Administration or related field.
  • At least 5 years of experience in sales and distribution in the mobile industry.
  • Mobile carrier and/or brand experience is highly valued.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to engage retail managers personally and communicate effectively under stress.
  • Strong public speaking skills and English language proficiency for written and spoken communication.
  • Willingness to travel, including road trips.
