Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Accounting Senior Analyst to join our team at Beckman Coulter Diagnostics. As a key member of our Finance department, you will be responsible for establishing and maintaining general accounting reporting and practices for the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting: Compile and analyze financial information to prepare necessary journal entries for properly stated ledgers and financial statements in accordance with regulations (e.g., MEXGAAP and USGAAP) and company policy.
  • Bookkeeping and Account Management: Perform bookkeeping or account management duties as required.
  • Tax Compliance: Assist in carrying out tax-related activities, including preparing and filing tax returns and corporate tax reports.
  • Treasury Management: Manage daily reporting activities, deal with bank and petty cash management, process payments to vendors, intercompany, taxes, payroll, brokers, etc.
  • Financial Close: Prepare necessary journal entries for properly stated ledgers and prepare monthly reconciliations: Cash Pool Concentration, Petty Cash, advance payments, PPE, OTL, and Taxes.
  • Audit Support: Attend and support local external E&Y audit as well as Danaher Internal Audit and BC BSR for Mexico in the areas of Taxes, Fixed Asset, and Expense Reports.
  • Statutory to USGAAP Reconciliation: Prepare the Stat to GAAP reconciliation of Mexico on a yearly basis.
  • Internal Control Management: Use DBS tools to quickly identify internal control deficiencies, evaluate their risk implications, and draw the appropriate conclusions.
Requirements
  • Education: Graduation and/or Post Graduation in accounting, taxes, and financial regulations.
  • Experience: 5 years or more of relevant experience in the field of accounting and taxes companies (preferably in the medical equipment industry).
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of local accounting standards and MEX/US GAAP principles. Tax legislation knowledge. Solid presentation/communication skills (both oral and written). Excel advanced knowledge. Advanced English. Organized and able to handle multi-tasks. Responsible for complying with deadlines.
