We are seeking a highly skilled Beneficiary Services Representative to join our team at Leidos. As a key member of our team, you will provide critical support to TRICARE beneficiaries, ensuring they receive the best possible care and services.
Key Responsibilities- Maintain confidentiality of beneficiary information and provide briefings and educational information sessions as needed.
- Process registration of TRICARE beneficiaries in the Composite Health Care System (CHCS) and manage enrollments, disenrollments, and portability transfers using the Defense Online Enrollment System (DOES).
- Assign primary care managers to TRICARE beneficiaries, verify eligibility information, and provide education and enrollment information to beneficiaries on the phone and in person.
- Assist walk-in beneficiaries with enrollments and inquiries, handle faxed enrollment forms, and research and interpret benefits, policies, and procedures to military staff and other resources.
- Provide customer support to the Military Treatment Facility Commander and/or the TRICARE Area Office staff, serve as a liaison between the TRICARE Regional offices and beneficiaries, and collect, process, retrieve, and disseminate transfer information to support the TRICARE active-duty portability process.
- Conduct off-site briefings, such as enrollment briefings, fairs, or other functions, and determine the appropriate assistance levels and when to forward calls or referrals to address beneficiary questions.
- Complete all responsibilities and duties in accordance with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) guidelines, including proper handling of Protected Health Information.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Must be SOFA/Command Sponsored as a dependent of an Active-Duty Service Member or DoD employee.
- Must be a US Citizen to be considered for this position.
- Be eligible for and maintain ADP II/IT II clearance.
- Three years' cumulative experience in the following areas: U.S. military healthcare delivery system or civilian managed care medical/administrative environment, medical or clinical environment, CHCS or civilian healthcare computer system, and public environment.
- Associate degree preferred.
- Knowledge of TRICARE Overseas programs, Defense Enrollment Eligibility Reporting System (DEERS), DOES, and CHCS.
Leidos offers a competitive salary range of $27, $49,350.00 and a comprehensive benefits package, including competitive PTO packages, 10 paid federal holidays, flexible schedule, college tuition and technical certification assistance, on the job training support, paid parental leave, paid disability leave, and an incredible internal/external referral bonus program.
