Job Summary:

The Marketing Director will be responsible for developing and executing the strategic direction of the Monster Energy brand. This includes ensuring alignment with the company's global marketing standards, objectives, strategies, and philosophies.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Brand Development: Create and implement marketing plans to drive brand awareness and sales volumes.
  • Event Management: Plan, manage, and execute all marketing events and programs within clearly specified budgets.
  • Trade Marketing: Work with distributors and headquarters to develop cost-effective promotional platforms to drive trade-wide executional scale, product trial, and brand awareness.
  • Digital Leverage: Drive PR and digital leverage platforms to maximize event or athlete spend and engage core target consumers.
  • Social Media: Grow social media fans on Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter through various activities or promotions in consultation with global digital experts.
  • Sampling Program: Manage sampling program, including direct management of MAT team leaders in relevant territories, and carry out large-scale, event-based product sampling operations.
  • Marketing Budget: Accountable for marketing budget based on the annual plan set in conjunction with leadership.
  • Event Activation: Activate and leverage global, national, and regional events and properties that fit within the established local market business plan.
  • Relationship Building: Entrench yourself and MEC Brands in the local sport and culture scenes relevant to key targeted consumers and brands/SKUs, and develop and maintain relationships with opinion leaders in your market.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field of study.
  • 10 or more years of experience in a marketing management role.
  • 10 or more years of experience in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) industry, agency, or brand.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
  • Fluent in English.
