Our Shared Services Center is in search of a seasoned Human Resources expert with a minimum of 5 years of experience in crafting effective HR strategies, conducting both campus and experienced hire recruitment, enhancing the onboarding experience, and developing impactful employee engagement initiatives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in implementing and managing modern HR systems, establishing a standards-based disciplinary framework, and overseeing the transition to an automated HR system that boosts performance and reduces costs. This role requires a proactive individual with critical thinking skills to cultivate a connected, skilled, and informed team.
Key Responsibilities: Lead campus recruitment initiatives in collaboration with local universities—engage students and facilitate internships and entry-level hiring upon graduation. Monitor intern performance and provide recommendations to leadership regarding hiring decisions. For interns transitioning to full-time roles, manage their graduation timelines and coordinate onboarding processes. Direct local recruitment efforts for experienced hires—identify candidates from other firms and the local market. Assist with online job postings, conduct screening interviews, and guide candidates through the interview process. Ensure the collection of necessary documentation to support hiring decisions. Facilitate the onboarding of new hires into the Carr Riggs and Ingram culture. Ensure effective communication between management and employees regarding organizational changes and policies. Provide training on internal systems to new employees. Coordinate training for new employees in relevant accounting principles and tax regulations. Strategically plan workforce deployment to maximize employee talents. Address performance issues collaboratively with management. Oversee the annual evaluation process to assess talent objectively and support career development. Manage employee benefits programs in compliance with applicable labor laws. Advise leadership on labor laws and internal policies to ensure alignment with employee rights and obligations. Serve as a resource for managers on HR-related matters, including equal employment opportunity and workplace conduct. Address staffing challenges, including conflict resolution and disciplinary actions. Maintain organizational charts and employee directories. Qualifications: Bachelor's and/or Master's degree in Human Resources or a related field preferred. Minimum of five years of experience in Human Resources and/or Recruitment within a professional services environment. International experience in the professional services sector is a plus. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish (oral and written). Strong understanding of labor laws. Ability to cultivate relationships within the business community and with educational institutions. Excellent decision-making and communication skills. Strong organizational abilities.
