Job Summary

We are seeking a Senior Lean Manufacturing Specialist to join our team at Nemak. In this role, you will be responsible for implementing and training lean core tools, identifying cost reduction opportunities, and driving plant improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

  • Promote the use of root cause problem-solving techniques to identify and eliminate problems using lean core tools.
  • Perform plant assessments to identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to close gaps using Value Stream Mapping (VSM) and other lean core tools.
  • Track and maintain a list of open improvement items and create action plans to complete them in a timely manner.
  • Develop and implement lean core tool implementations and continuous improvement actions to drive plant performance improvements.
  • Drive plant-wide deployment of lean strategies and establish systems to maintain success.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • Advanced English language skills.
  • Experience in Lean Manufacturing as VSM, Kaizen events, 5S's, TPM, SMED, Standard work, Develop A3, Material flow.

Salary Range

$80,000 - $110,000 per year, depending on experience.
