Lead Process Engineer in Manufacturing

Job Overview
We are seeking a Senior Process Engineer (Welding) to enhance our exceptional teams that create outstanding products and drive our expansion.
Reporting to the Director of Mechanical Engineering, the Process Engineer will be responsible for:
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and understand the manufacturing processes, technologies, and product specifications.
- Design, implement, and assess proposed designs and processes for optimal manufacturability.
- Collaborate with engineering stakeholders to identify root causes of manufacturing failures.
- Actively participate in daily production operations and resolve daily challenges effectively.
- Justify, procure, and implement capital equipment for production enhancements.
- Oversee the production of new process equipment.
- Manage the initiation and implementation of engineering change orders (ECOs).
- Establish and maintain robust, repeatable, and reproducible process parameters.
- Develop, implement, and take ownership of process control methodologies.
- Create and maintain comprehensive process documentation.
- Review and optimize processing methods.
- Collaborate with production teams on all activities related to new process implementation and transfer.
- Assist in training development and provide training to production staff during technology transfers.
- Innovate in Metal Mechanical projects by applying reengineering principles to enhance organizational competitiveness.
- Validate manufacturing processes for mechanical components in accordance with applicable standards to ensure quality.
- Supervise resources in their area of expertise, focusing on safety, hygiene, and environmental considerations to boost productivity.
- Experience with punch, bend, insertion, robotic tapping operations, including tool crib management, EDMs, and MRO non-BoM materials.
- Background in the metal-mechanics industry is desirable.
Qualifications:
- Intermediate proficiency in English.
- A bachelor's degree is typically required.
- Involvement in cycle time and process improvement initiatives.
- Evaluate and select various engineered materials.
- Conduct statistical process research on both new and existing products.
- Implement safety and productivity enhancements.
- Improve manufacturing techniques and throughput.
- Continuously develop manufacturing techniques to enhance in-house capabilities.
