**Job Summary**:

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Cloud Operations Consultant to join our team at Carrier. As a Cloud Operations Consultant, you will play a key role in helping us drive innovation and excellence in our cloud infrastructure and services.

**Key Responsibilities**:

  • Help define and implement cloud hosting strategies and solutions that align with business objectives.
  • Deploy world-class technology and streamlined processes to enhance the global commercial Digital Technology environment.
  • Coordinate and report operational metrics on a recurring basis.
  • Identify trends and assess opportunities to improve processes and execution.
  • Raise and track issues and conflicts, remove barriers, and resolve issues of medium complexity.
  • Establish and maintain credible, professional relationships with clients, internal delivery partners, and external vendors.
  • Identify training requirements and devise training programs to ensure operational readiness.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry regulations, trends, and technology.

**Requirements**:

  • Proficient and fluent conversational English level.
  • 5+ years of experience in cloud IT operations & support, demonstrating analytical thinking and innovation.
  • Technical skills required: AWS Cloud Compute, Networking, Access Management, Storage.
  • Cloud native tools experience around patching, monitoring, backups, is a must.
  • Strong working knowledge of ITIL principles and ITSM.
  • Experience working with managed service provider models.
  • Highly-motivated, self-directed, and able to effectively lead efforts including the delivery of complex projects with multiple stakeholders.
  • Demonstrates leadership and collaboration skills, and the ability to succeed in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and demonstrates ability to perform root cause analyses.
