Job Summary

Bureau de Arte en Software is seeking a highly skilled QA Automation Engineer to join our team. As a QA Automation Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automated test scripts and frameworks to validate the functionality, performance, and security of our software applications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Test Automation Development: Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks to validate the functionality, performance, and security of our software applications.
  • Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD): Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate the testing, deployment, and monitoring of software releases in containerized environments.
  • Test Planning and Execution: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define test strategies, create test plans, and execute test cases to ensure comprehensive test coverage.
  • Quality Assurance Processes: Establish and enforce QA best practices, standards, and processes to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of testing activities.
  • Defect Management: Identify, document, prioritize, and track defects using issue tracking systems, and work closely with development teams to ensure timely resolution.
  • Performance Testing: Conduct performance and scalability testing to assess the system's behavior under various loads and optimize performance.
  • Security Testing: Perform security assessments and vulnerability scans to identify and mitigate potential security risks and ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain detailed documentation, including test plans, test cases, test reports, and automation scripts, to support QA processes and facilitate knowledge sharing.
Requirements
  • Experience: 7+ years of experience in software testing and automation.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Skills: Strong proficiency in programming/scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or similar. Experience with one or more automation frameworks/tools such as Selenium, Appium, Robot Framework, or similar. Hands-on experience with containerization technologies like Docker and orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
  • Language: English (Required)
